Today, I can finally announce that Fantasy & Frens is publishing our third book!

It feels like I’ve been holding onto this information forever, and I’m so excited to share that our third acquisition will be Resonant by Jeremy Jacobson!!!

One of my goals for the imprint is to publish a different kind of fantasy with each acquisition. So for our third book, I wanted to go back to my roots. I wanted to publish a traditional epic fantasy that reminded me why I fell in love with the genre so many years ago. And when I read Resonant for the first time, I knew this book had to be the one. I wanted to go on a quest. I wanted an adventure. I wanted to explore a vast world and see characters fighting to save it. That’s exactly what I found in Resonant.

Publication is slated for Fall 2026, and it follows three strangers who must answer the powerful summons of the Firesong by embarking on a treacherous quest to save the world. If y’all know one thing about me, it’s that I love a quest.

Of course, I’m a character-focused reader—but one thing that stood out to me while reading the manuscript was how lived-in the world felt. It was lush. It was vast. I loved the world Jeremy created. It felt like he had walked the streets, been to the shops, trekked the mountains and paths and rivers. He knew exactly where he was as he wrote this book. That makes me so excited to explore this world again with you.
